SECTION IV — Firefighting Measures
FLASH POINT (METHOD USED): 99º C
HAZARDOUS COMBUSTION PRODUCTS: Carbon Monoxide and Carbon Dioxide
EXTINGUISHING MEDIA: Dry Chemical (preferred), Alcohol Foam, Water. Use water to cool fire-exposed containers and to protect personnel.
SPECIAL FIRE FIGHTING PROCEDURES: The usual fireman’s body protection should be worn as well as a self-contained breathing apparatus to protect from vapors formed by the product.
SECTION V — Firefighting Measures
POTENTIAL HEALTH EFFECTS:
Skin—Prolonged and/or repeated contact with this product may cause irritation/dermatitis.
Eye—Contact can cause moderate to severe irritation and possibly injury to eyes.
Ingestion—Can cause gastrointestinal irritation, nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Inhalation—Exposure to oil mist/fume/vapor may cause respiratory tract irritation. Excessive inhalation of this product may cause headache, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, and vomiting.
EMERGENCY AND FIRST AID PROCEDURES:
Skin—Wash with soap and water, remove contaminated clothing. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse. If irritation persists, get medical attention.
Eye—Wash with large amounts of water for a minimum of 15 minutes, consult eye physician.
Ingestion—Consult physicians immediately, DO NOT induce vomiting unless directed to do so by medical personnel.
Inhalation—Remove to fresh air immediately, seek medical attention if symptoms develop or persist.

STEPS TO BE TAKEN IN CASE MATERIAL IS RELEASED OR SPILLED:
Eliminate sources of ignition, dike the spilled material where possible, absorb in an inert absorbent compound e.g. dry clay, sand, or diatomaceous earth, commercial sorbents; or recover using pumps.
WASTE DISPOSAL METHOD:
Disposal should be in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations regarding environmental control.

PRECAUTION TO BE TAKEN IN HANDLING AND STORING:
Avoid getting this material in contact with your skin and eyes. Keep the container tightly closed and in a cool, well ventilated place. Do not freeze.
